VVA Chapter 1069 Meeting Report for: April 4-13-2022

The meeting was held at Mikeska’s BBQ, (located on Hwy 59) El Campo, TX.
The chapter would like to thank Mikeska family for advertising our chapter meeting on their
new electronic color sign.
Chapter Presiedent, Joe McCreary opened the meeting at 6:00 PM. See photo below.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was recited and a prayer was given.

After the meal, Joe re-opened the meeting at 6:45 PM

Joe then recognized all those members who were having birthdays in April, and Happy Birthday was sung by all.

The main item on the agenda included a full report and discussion (see photo below) regarding the successful March
29, 2022, "Vietnam Veterans Day" fellowship gathering between our chapter and 4 other local
area VVA chapters. Photos taken at the event were shown on the chapter's big screen projector.
The event was hels in the old KJT hall in Ammannsville, Texas.
As the below photo shows, the event was a huge success!

Chapter member, Bob Supak, gave a brief report regarding him attending the April VVA
Texas State Council's bi-annual conference/meeting, held in Baytown, Texas. All VVA
Texas chapters are required to attend one of the two Texas State Council meetings that
are held twice a year.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
Next chapter meeting is: Wednesday, May 11, 2022, same place, same time - see you there!
