The guest speaker was Clayton Ryan, officer of "Everyday Heroes, Inc.", of El Campo, Texas, a Veterans Service organization, and a big supportor of our VVA Chapter. Click on the link below to learn more about "Everyday Heroes, Inc." and the services they provide for the Wharton and surrounding Counties area Veterans. A major service they provide for local veterans is a daily bus shuttle service based in El Campo, that travels to & from the Houston & Rosenburg VA Hospitals, and returns to El Campo.

The Officers & members of VVA Chapter 1069 of El Campo would like to thank the "Garwood/Nada Gadabouts Society" and "Everyday Heroes Inc." for sponsoring this event and remembering all Veteran's service to our Country. It is much appreciated.
And a big thanks to Carolyn Milder for taking and providing us with all above photos!
Also note that in 2017 our chapter was invited to the Garwood/Nada Gadabouts Society's Veterans Appreciation Day that was held in Garwood. Our chapter President (Leonard Sternadel) spoke at that event and we showed a video of our Chapter's participation when the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall came to El Campo in 2015. Use the link below to read a full report on that event. You will also see photos of the Veterans Memorial located in Garwood, that is maintained by the Gadabouts Society.
