Note that this page is provided by the nomination committee for the chapter membership so as to keep everyone informed regarding the election process. For those members wanting to run for a Chapter Officer or Director position, please contact one of the nomination committee members below.

JANUARY 2021 MEETING - ELECTION UPDATE
A 3-man Nomination Committee was selected at the January 13, 2021 chapter meeting. The 3 chapter members selected for the committee were: Louis Milder, Harold Peikert and Bob Supak. It is the responsibility of the committee to solicit nominees as election candidates for chapter officer positions of President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer, along with nominees for our 4-member Board-of-Directors (BOD) positions.

The 3-man Nomination Committee was officially voted on and approved at the February 10, 2021 chapter meeting. Bob Supak was also selected and approved as the nominations committee chairman.
To ensure all members of VVA Chapter 1069 were aware of the upcoming election, each member was mailed a letter, informing them of the upcoming election and asking for any/all nominations for Officers and Directors. Also included in the letter were the names of the nominations committee members, along with phone and email contact information.

The nomination committee turned in the final list of candidate nominees to our Secretary/Treasurer, at the March 10, 2021 chapter meeting. The chapter will have 1 month to approve the list of nominees. Note that chapter officers and BOD members serve a 2-yr term.
To ensure all members of VVA Chapter 1069 were aware of the election candidates, all chapter members who do not have email were mailed a letter, informing them of the upcoming election and candidates, and again asking for any/all nominations for Officers and Directors. All chapter members with email were also notified with the same information.
The Nominations Committee has presented their 2021 Election Candidates list at the chapter's March meeting on 3-10-2021. The following are our chapter's 2021-2023 election candidates, and will be voted on at the April 14th Annual chapter meeting.

The actual elections were held at our monthly chapter meeting, held on April 14, 2021. Voting was done by secret ballot. Nominees each had 3 minutes to promote their candidacy for the position that they are running for. No other nominees were taken from the floor. Vice-President, Leonard Sternadel, was selected to verify and certify the counting of the votes by the nominations committee members, Bob Supak and Louis Milder. The results of the election are listed below along with group photo.
