It was another great Vietnam Veterans Day outing & celebration for VVA chapter 1069 members, spouses and their family members at Mike Ryan's lake property! See photos below. It was a beautiful day for our chapter members to get together and the turnout was great.

A big thanks to Mike for inviting us out to his lake property for Veterans Day! Mike is a big supporter of our chapter.

The following report is by Carolyn Milder, spouse of chapter member, Louis Milder - Thanks Carolyn. And a big thanks to Carolyn for sending me these pictures.

An approximate attendance for the event was 22 veterans, 19 spouses, 5 grand children and special guests. The prepared meal was great (as usual)! It was catered by the Lone Star Cafe in Taiton. The menu included grilled chicken breast, grilled pork chops, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, green salad, and Hotdogs. There was also a lot of desserts, dips & snacks made and brought by chapter members. The weather was a bit windy but it was a very nice day with lots of sunshine. Everyone had a great time visiting with each other. Our past chapter President, Leonard Sternadel and his wonderful wife (and Veteran), Dana, also attended the event. Chapter member, Jackie Saucedo and his three grandchildren did some fishing from Mike's fishing pier. Mike Ryan again put on a great family outing for our chapter's Veterans.
